About the Artist

 

I don't just carve wood. I'm trying to capture the feel of old world fairy tales and make them real again.

At Grimm’s Carvings, my obsession is creating sculptures and carvings that have the presence of old world magic, medieval village life and the ominous shadow of European folklore. 

I'm currently training at an intensive woodcarving residency in Austria. But I live in and work in Grapevine, Texas with my beautiful wife, energetic son, and wise daughter (and goofy golden retriever).
