About the Artist

 

I carve wood to recapture something that is hard to find in our modern age: the old world magic of European folklore and medieval life.

I'm trained in traditional carving techniques at one of Europe's most prestigious woodcarving schools in the Austrian Alps. These methods were refined over centuries in churches, royal residences, and public spaces across Europe. That foundation shapes everything I make. I'm not inventing style. I'm working within a lineage.

I split my time between intensive training at the school in Austria and my studio in Grapevine, Texas, where I live with my beautiful wife, energetic son, wise daughter, and goofy golden retriever.
