The Story
"The Shepherd" has the face of something ancient. A shepherd not of flocks, but of forests. Carved from reclaimed cottonwood bark collected from Grapevine Lake, his hollowed eyes and heavy brow carry the weight of old growth timber and older stories. The dry-brushed white pigment ridges in the bark, giving him the ghostly presence of a figure half-remembered from a Grimms' Fairytale.
