The Story
His expression is serious in the way of something that has stood watch for a very long time. Carved from reclaimed cottonwood bark collected from a fallen tree on the shores of Grapevine Lake, the bark's natural ridges gave him a face that needed little coaxing. A dry-brush of white pigment traces the high points of the texture, sharpening the gravity of his gaze. He belongs somewhere he can keep an eye on things.
